Gjerfloen Flyfishing, Norway. Updated information bout fishing conditions on the fly fishing zone, water level and water temperature in the Trysil river.

During the 2020 season 233 fishing licenses were sold (2019: 448) and 1626 fishes were reported on Gjerfloen Flyfishing (2019: 2035). 1 grayling + 50 cms is reported. This season was influenced by corona restrictions, and we had very few fishermen from Sweden. In September and October we had some very good Norwegian fishermen here and the average catch per day was significantly up.

More fishermen could visit Gjerfloen Flyfishing this month and we sold 87 fishing licenses. Very good fishing conditions most of the time and September became one of the best fishing months on Gjerfloen Flyfishing ever. Average catch per day (Cpd) 13,0

The borders opened up a little more in August and a few more fishermen could visit Gjerfloen Flyfishingt. This month we sold 37 fishing licenses. Good fishing conditions in periods when the wind from north calmed down. Some fishermen did very well. Average catch per day (Cpd) 8,9

Because of closed borders, very few fishermen could visit Gjerfloen Flyfishing in July. Normally we sell aprox 100 licenses also this month. This year we sold 11. Good fishing conditions most of the time and some fishermen did very well. Average catch per day (Cpd) 13,7

Because of closed borders, very few fishermen could visit Gjerfloen Flyfishing in June. Normally we sell aprox 100 licenses this month. this year we sold 16. High water made fishing difficult, but nevertheless, some fishermen did very well, and landed some very nice fishes too. 3 graylings and 1 brown truot are reported between to be 45 and 49 cms.
