During the 2018 season 447 fishing licenses were sold (2017: 633) and 3720 fishes were reported on Gjerfloen Flyfishing (2017: 4009). 2 graylings and 2 brown trouts + 50 cms are reported.

Statistics of reported catches in October

40 day licenses were sold in September. Catch per day: 6,8. By some reason or other, extraordinary few bigger fishes were caught in October. So far this season 3720 catches are reported.

The first part of August was warm. Later the water temperature went down again and conditions became very good. 84 daylicenses were sold and catch per day was 12,5 which is all times high for August.

Statistics of reported catches in July

The first part of July was OK. Later the water temperature went up to 20 C degrees and more in the afternoon. The bigger graylings and trouts were therefore very hard to catch. 151 daylicenses were sold and some fishermen had success even if the conditions were tricky.

Statistics of reported catches in June

Very good fishing in June this season. Only half of the normal water flow made wading easy and gave access to the hot spots. 110 day licenses were sold.

Kingfisher was our guide, Kenneth. He landed 192 graylings and 32 brown trouts. His biggest grayling: 48 cms. Browntrout: 52 cms. Al the biggest graylings and trouts he caught with strteamer. There were also reported two +50 cms graylings from other fishermen.
