Fly Fishing Photo Gallery 2009. Grayling, Brown Trout, Fly Fishers
Fishing pictures. Photo gallery from Gjerfloen Flyfishing, Norway. Fly fishers and fishermen, photos of grayling, brown trout, arctic char, whitefish, pike and other "shots" of
interest. (English only)

As fishing guide and riverkeeper I spend a lot of time by the riverside and the camara is always with me. I therefore have many opportunities to take good "shots" of fishing situations, fishermen, catches and nature from and around the Gjerfloen fly zone area.
The photo gallery page will contain updated pictures of fishermen and catches from Gjerfloen Flyfishing
and other pictures of interest from Trysil.

This kind of mussle is very rare in the Trysil river, but there are a few and they can
be up to 300 years old! Please let
them live and don't take them out of the water. This one was found here in 2002. If you find one of them, please report to me.

"Fisketurisme Innland" arranged a trip to Slovenia for Norwegian fishing guides and
river keepers. The Tolmin area was our destination. My experiences: Very nice rivers,
Soca and Idrija are the most famous. Well cultivated waters and a lot of nice fish.
Expensive fishing licences and challenging fishing. Beautiful nature and pleasant
climate. Compared with Norway the cost of food and accommodation are low.

Jan Hatten showing a more than 20 kgs prepared marble trout from the Tolmin area.

in May.

Here is the new stream at Gjerflokoia (left) created in November last year. The
water is still high, but this looks very promising! Water flow 180 m3/s and water temp
4,5 C degrees this morning.
The new stream at Halvorsøya, upper part.
Here the path from the parking place used to cross a ditch, now it has become a lovely
stream.
At the lower part of Halvorsøya it used to be stillwater. I think the graylings
will find the area much more atractive now! The fallen tree is cut down by a beaver.
February 2009
25th of February
Team Rob Neuhaus (Holland) on Landsjøen the 25th of February. It was more than 60
cms of snow on the ice, but the weather was nice and the pearches seemed to like
the Dutch way of ice angling!
One of the smaller perches obviously wanted to have a closer look at Eric Neuhaus.
A bigger perch showed interest for Nôel Brouwers.
Rob Neuhaus with a standard size Landsjøen pearch.
Rolf van Dort was the "kingfisher" of the day.
Just before ending the session, Maarten Neuhaus hooked this nice pearch, here assisted
by Stéphanie Bakker
