Gjerfloen Flyfishing, Norway. Updated information bout fishing conditions on the fly fishing zone, water level and water temperature in the Trysil river.

During the 2019 season 448 fishing licenses were sold (2018: 447) and 2035 fishes were reported on Gjerfloen Flyfishing (2018: 3720). 1 grayling + 50 cms is reported. This season has been not so good. June in special, and July produced much lower than normal. August was better than avarage.

Fishing in October started OK even if the weather was colder than normal. The cold weather went on through the month and the fishing were difficult even if the water flow was OK most of the month, 34 day licenses sold. Average catch per day 6,6.

Fishing in September started with rain, high water and difficult conditions. From the middle of the month we had periods with good fishing conditions. 50 day licenses sold. Average catch per day 10,4, the best month so far this season.

Fishing guide Chris Hendriks was guiding 2 guests today who never had been fly fishing before, Thor Næss and Sigurd Slapgaard, Norway. On theiir first fly fishing day they landed 20 graylings with nymph.

Fishing in June this year was not good. High water, periods with rain and cold weather made the fishing conditions very difficult. 119 licenses were sold (110 in June 2018) and reported catches 301 (1.134 in june last year). 8 graylings were between 45 and 49 cms and 1 +50 cms. Average catch per day 3,1
