The fishing in June, September and October this year was very good. The perfect weather the first part of October made the fishing conditions outstanding and the catches were extraordinary for those who made things right. July was too warm and August was warm and rainy and not so good.
Fishing guide Kenneth Fidje (left) was kingfisher this year. During 33 fishing days in September and October he landed 878 graylings. Mattias Svensson, Sweden (right), had the best day catch. The 16th of October he landed 65 graylings.

Finally we had a normal summer again with nice weather most of the time and just a few periods with a little rain. The fishing conditions were therefore good and very good most of the season. Because of the nice weather in July (only three rainy days) this month for the first time was better than June.
32 % of the reported grayling were +35 cms. 19 graylings were between 45 and 49 cms and 3 graylings were +50 cm! This is the first season we have had reported graylings + 50 cms. In the year 2000, when the fly zone was established, only 10 % of the graylings were +35 cms so the development has been incredible.
