The water flow down to 83 m3/s this morning. Water temp 6 C degrees. The fishing conditions
are quite good.
15th of October
The water flow down to 85 m3/s this morning. Water temp 6 C degrees. The fishing conditions
are quite good.

The water flow down to 88 m3/s this morning. Water temp 6 C degrees. The fishing conditions
are quite good.
13th of October
The water flow down to 89 m3/s this morning. Water temp 7 C degrees. The fishing conditions
are the best since the 2nd of October.

At the moment the water flow is stabelized by snow melting in the mountains. 97 m3/s
also this morning. The waterflow at the present time is on a normal June level.

High air temperature day and night generate snow melting in the mountains which keeps
the water flow stable. 97 m3/s also this morning. Water temp 7 C degrees. The fishing
conditions are OK.

Snow melting in the mountains yesterday brought the water flow up to 97 m3/s this
morning. Water temp 7 C degrees. Very little rain is predicted during the week end
so the fishing conditions are expected to be OK.
9th of October
Some rain yesterday and last night kept the water flow on 85 m3/s also this morning.
Water temp up to 7 C degrees.
8th of October
The water flow down to 85 m3/s this morning. Water temp 6 C degrees. Fishing conditions
are OK again.
7th of October
The water flow down again to 91 m3/s this morning. Water temp 6 C degrees. The water flow
at the moment is on a normal June level.
6th of October
The flood culminated late yesterday afternoon at about 115 m3/s and is now down
again to 107 m3/s. Water temp 7 C degrees. As very little rain is predicted this
week the fishing conditions will be better and better again each day.
5th of October
More rain yesterday and the water flow rushed up to 90 m3/s this morning. Normal
water flow this time of the year should be between 50 and 55 m3/s. Water temp 7 C
degrees (normal). 17 fishermen on the fly zone yesterday experienced that the fishing
was very tricky! The water flow is still going up and the fishing conditions will
not be good till the water begins to fall again.
4th of October
Rain the last two days brought the water flow up to 61 m3/s this morning. Water temp
7 C degrees. At the moment waterflow is going up and the fishing conditions are
not good.
2nd of October
Some rain yesterday and last night brought the water flow up to 46 m3/s this morning.
Water temp 8C degrees. Fishing conditions are still very good!

was good this morning. Dieter Benenowski, Germany, landed 11 graylings up to 40
cms. Red and pink were best colours.
29th of August
The water flow down to 67 m3/s this morning. Water temp 11 C degrees. Some sun and
no rain is predicted this week end. This means that we shall have very good fishing
conditions, both dry fly and nymph.
28th of August
The water flow is the same as yesterday morning, 69 m3/s, but is now going down again.
Water temp 12 C degrees. Some sun and no rain is predicted this week end. Cold wind
from the north made the fishing difficult, but not impossible.
27th of August
Rasin yesterday brought the water flow up to 69 m3/s this morning. Water temp 13 C
degrees. Yesterday the rising water made the fishing tricky. During two hours in
the late afternoom I landed 8 graylings up to 40 cms with Pink Panter. (See picture

Water flow down to 66 m3/s this morning. Water temp 13 C degrees. Fishing conditions
are good.

Rain showers and heavy rain last night brought the water flow up to 76 m3/s this morning.
I guess that the rise will culminate in the afternoon today and the fishing will
be no good today, but better again tomorrow. Water temp 13 C degrees.

Water flow stable, 68 m3/s this morning too. Water temp 13 C degrees. Fishing conditions
are good. During 3 hours in the afternoon I landed 22 graylings up to 40 cms on
the east bank near the fly zone cabin. Pink nymphs were superior.

The flood culminated yesterday afternoon (104 m3/s) and the water flow is 99 m3/s
this morning. Water temp down to 13 C degrees. The water is still a little coloured,
but tomorrow it will be clear again.

Nearly 10 mms of rain in the area since yesterday brought the water flow further
up to 97 m3/s this morning. Water temp 15 C degrees. Fishing for grayling is not
so good as long as the water flow is increasing, but nevertheless chech nymphing gave
some results this morning (see the photo gallery page)

85 m3/s this morning. Water temp down to 15 C degrees. Fishing for grayling is not

are good. 12 fishermen on Gjerfloen Flyfishing yesterday. Kingfishers were Daniel
Kindlund, Sweden, (37 graylings landed, 4 of them +40 cms) and Kim Häggqvist, Sweden
(29 graylings landed, biggest 49 cms). Ole Solvang, Norway, landed 6 graylings in
the afternoon, 2 of them +40 cms.
4th of July
The water flow down to 95 m3/s this morning. Water temp 16 C degrees. Fishing conditions
are good, but the graylings are not easy to catch at the moment. The sedges are
beginning to appear in large numbers.
2nd of July
The water flow is now rapidly going down again and was 110 m3/s this morning. Water temp
15 C degrees. Because of the rising water, the fishing has been no good since the
29th of June. Warmer weather and falling water today will bring the graylings back
to the "dinnertable". The Danica is still here (See the "photo galleyr" page).
1st of July
The water flow went quite fast up yesterday, but is now going down again, up 123
m3/s this morning. Water temp 15 C degrees.
June
30th of June
Rain, rain and more rain yesterday brought the water flow up to 112 m3/s this morning.
Water temp 14 C degrees. No good fishing conditions at the moment. When the flow
culminates this afternoon/evening it will be better again.
29th of June
Rain yesterday brought the water flow up to 99 m3/s this evening. Water temp 13 C
degrees. Reports from yesterday show that some fishermen had success and some not.
Most successful was Raol Martin, Spain, with a light brown caddis. During 4 hours
in the afternoon he landed 18 graylings, 2 of them +40 cms. I have not got all June
catch reports yet, but so far 762 fishes are reported landed on the fly zone.
28th of June
Rain last night brought the water flow up to 98 m3/s this morning. Water temp 13 C
degrees. 18 fishermen on the fly zone today. Catch reports come tomorrow.
27th of June
Waterf low 96 m3/s this morning. Wate rtemp up to 13 C degrees. Good dryf ly fishing
also yesterday. The GREEN DRAKE goes on hatching.
26th of June
Water is now going rapidly down and was 102 m3/s this morning. Water temp stable
on 12 C degrees. Good dry fly fishing yesterday. The GREEN DRAKE is still hatching.
25th of June
Water flow down to 109 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees.
24th of June
Strong wind from north made fishing today very difficult. Water flow a little bit
up to 110 m3/s this evening, but will be lower again tomorrow as no more rain is
predicted. Water temp 12 C degrees.
23rd of June
Lots of Danica hatching on Gjerfloen today. High rising activity on the upper part
of the fly zone in the afternoon, but the graylings were very selective and seemed
to take only the most perfect imitations. Water flow 109 m3/s. Water temp 12 C degrees.
22nd of June
The danica is hatching on Gjerfloen! The fishing has been a little tricky this week end,
but the most experienced fishermen have had success. Peter Slepicka, Sweden, landed
42 graylings on Friday and Saturday. Watertemp 12 C degrees.
20th of June
The danica hatching started on Gjerfloen today! Heavy rain showers yesterday brought
the water flow up to 114 m3/s today. Water temp 12 C degrees.
19th of June
The water flow down to 112 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees.

The water flow down to 121 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees.
17th of June
The waterf low down to 126 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees. Sulphurea,
"gul forssleda" is comming now!

The water flow down to 129 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees. Fishing conditions
are good on many places. Three Fly fishermen from Poland landed 142 graylings this

The water flow down to 134 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees. Very good fishing
at the moment. Fjällorna (Swedish fishingclub for women), landed 71 graylings from
Friday to Sunday. Different flies, but Klinkhammer and Superpuppa worked well.
14th of June
The water flow down to 136 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees. Very good fishing
at the moment. Enormous hatching and lots of risings. Jacub Guyda and Piotr Raczynski
(Poland) landed 50 graylings yesterday. Fjällorna have had good fishing today. Reports
come tomorrow.

The wate rflow was down to 139 m3/s this morning. Water temp 12 C degrees.
12th of June
The water flow goes on rushing down and was 140 m3/s this morning. Colder weather
has brought the water temp down to 12 C degrees.
11th of June
The water flow was down to 153 m3/s today. Water temp 13 C degrees.
10th of June
The water flow was down to 164 m3/s today. Water temp 14 C degrees. Fly fishing conditions
are OK for this time of the season.
8th of June
The water flow was down to 185 m3/s today. Water temp 15 C degrees. Two Swedes landed
32 graylings during Friday and Saturday. Two of them were +40 cms. A light green
superpuppa worked well!
7th of June
The river goes on falling and the water flow was down to 200 m3/s today. Water temp
15 C degrees. The first fishermen laid out their flies here on yesterday and they
were not disappointed! Hatching and catching. Marginata dominates at the moment,
but even a singel sulphurea was observed. Catch reports come tomorrow.
4th of June
I observed the first rising graylings at the shooting range this evening! Fly fishing
season is finally here! The river keeps on falling and the water flow at the power station
was down to 220 m3/s today. Water temp 12,5 C degrees.
3rd of June
The river has finally start to fall again. The water flow at Lutufallet power station
was down to 230 m3/s today.
2nd of June
The water flow at Lutufallet power station was 240 m3/s today. Water temp this afternoon,
11 C degrees. The flow has been on the same level for some days now. We have had
warm days for a week now and the last snow in the moutains is melting away. The
comming week end I'm sure we shall see the first graylings rising!
May
9th of May
The water flow at Lutufallet power station was 470 m3/s today. In less than 3 weeks
from now we shall see the first graylings making rings on the water!
