Water flow 250 m3/s this morning, more than 4 times normal! Water temp 2 C degrees, airtemp - 2,5 C degrees. Absolutely no good fishingconditions, high, but clair water. 7 graylings were landed during a short fishing session, my fingers did not like the air temperature. See photo gallery.

27th of November

Water flow 265 m3/s this morning, more than 4 times normal! Water temp 2 C degrees. Absolutely no good fishing conditions, high and coloured water, but 4 graylings grabbed my nymphs in the middle of the day. See photo gallery.

26th of November

Last week we have had a lot of rain and the snow is beginning to disappear. The water level is very high at the moment, but tomorrow I'll try fly fishing again! Report is comming.

21st of November

6th to 18th of November I was participating in an INNOVATION NORWAY group, studying tourism at Queensland University, Brisbane Australia. Some of us "had to" go fishing one day. See pictures on the Photo gallery page.

28th of October

Water flow 140 m3/s. Water temp 4 C degrees. The water is still very high, but the fishing were OK. May be it was the nice and sunny weather...

11th of October

Water flow 85 m3/s. Water temp 7 C degrees.

10th of October

Waterflow 85 m3/s. Water temp 8 C degrees.

3rd of October

The September statistics show that 929 fishes were landed (77 day licences were sold). 62 % of the catches were less than 30 cms. We have seen that since the middle of July the percentage of the fish less than 30 cms have been going up. High water temperature might be one of the reasons that the bigger ones have been hard to catch. So far this summer (pr 30th of September) 2.600 fishes are reported landed on Gjerfloen Flyfishing!
